All my life, I’ve had thick, durable hangers. The kind that just exist quietly in your closet and never give you a reason to think about them. In hindsight, I’m pretty sure most of them were stolen from my parents’ house when I moved out at 18.
Decades passed. The hanger population slowly declined.

Wrong.
